Membership eligibility requires being a teacher, employee or
operating staff of an educational facility located in Rock
or Walworth Counties, WI or Winnebago County, IL (a paystub
is required as proof employment) or be an immediate family member of a
qualified person. An immediate family member may be a
spouse, parents (step),
children (step), siblings (step or half),
grandparents (step) or grandchildren (step).
Once your eligibility has been established
you simply need to purchase a $5.00 "share" in the Credit Union,
which then becomes your "share" of the credit union. And, once a member,
always a member, regardless of job change or retirement.
You can now enjoy all of the services available to Teachers
Credit Union members.
ACCOUNT OPENING PROCEDURES
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and
money laundering activities, Federal law requires all
financial institutions to obtain, verify and record
information that identifies each person who opens an
account.
What this means for you: When you open an account, we
will ask for your name, address, date of birth and other
information that will allow us to identify you. We
will also ask to see your driver's license and social
security card or other identifying documents, if needed.
